self-portrait challenge
The current challenge over at SPC asks which of the four elements you most identify with: earth, water, fire, or air.
I identify with air. It is my favourite. To me, air means space and life in your lungs. Air gives you room to run and something to breathe. Few things stir me more than a big, gust of it flying at my face (preferably a bit cold and smelling like October).
I’m quite in love with it, really.
What’s your element?
Water, definitely water. Flowing smoothly in serene quietude or crashing in a windswept tempest…
I learned to swim at a very young age (about the same time I learned to walk) and have scarcely felt as comfortable as when I am floating on my back in the Ocean, gazing into a star-filled sky.
Even now, my move Eastward is precipitated by a long landlocked yearning to be near the Sea.

I have to agree with you about air – it has to do with flying I think. It feels the cleanest and freest. And I love your picture. You are gorgeous.
