There are moments when it creeps up on me.

you should continue writing the way you do, live the way you do – comfortably – with no worries of what you wish you could have done, when now you are doing just that even though you doubt and wonder where you’re heading. that is my two cents. i enjoy reading your blog and have linked it to mine. i hope you don’t mind. love the bowl of peanuts shot! ties in mighty well to the words of today.

    I believe in you, Lindsey!
No matter what path you are on
I know that each step you take is deliberate and purposeful.
I also believe that days like these are the ones that you will most often reflect back on for inspiration and motivation.
Don’t loose hope! The luster’s still there!

I think most humans experience some of those same thoughts some time or another. Feelings of dragging feet, dulling luster, obscured hope…..beaten down & apathetic feelings….a wanting, a yearning.
When it comes down to the nitty-gritty, I feel more than ever that people are believing in each other. That G. Kellior article you sent reminded me of that; the 2 million or so people in DC with no arrests, reminded me of that (DC doesn’t exactly have the lowest crime rate in the US)….friends & family remind me of that.
We all experience times when we feel beaten down, tired, but things are still possible. It’s not always as evident; it’s not always obvious, and perhaps we won’t always see it, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, I believe people believe in each other (I suspect there are definitely some people from a plane that landed in Hudson Bay that feel that way). There are and will be moments that show that there is more for us – some we will miss, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
More people believe in us than we know.
    Things are possible.
