First, let me say that it’s been a great weekend.

If I am my worst in the afternoon, I am my best in the morning, especially when the morning is quiet and still and sunny.
I am spending this morning before work in an odd jumble of pajamas letting the oatmeal settle, drinking milk, and watching little birds nibble the frost-kissed berries outside our window.
There are moments when it creeps up on me.
